VOTE BY MAIL WITH AN ABSENTEE BALLOT or AT THE POLLS ON NOV 8TH

How are you voting this year?

VOTE BY ABSENTEE BALLOT
This year, you can vote by Absentee Ballot due to your absence from town, sickness (yours, someone you are caring for, or sickness in the community), disability, active military service, or for religious reasons.

It’s easy- 4 Steps!

1. Apply for an Absentee Ballot application by downloading and completing the application from CT's Secretary of the State https://portal.ct.gov/SOTS/Election-Services/Voter-Information/Absentee-Voting,

calling the Wethersfield Town Clerk's office at (860) 721-2880 and asking for an application to be mailed to you, or stopping in the office to complete one in person.

2. Submit your Application

-Deliver to Wethersfield's secure dropbox in front of town hall (save a stamp!)
-Mail to the Wethersfield Town Clerk, 505 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield CT 06109
-Bring your application to the Town Clerk’s office and wait for your ballot so you can vote that same day (starting October 7th)

3. Vote your Ballot - Once you receive your Absentee Ballot, please read it carefully and Vote AMY! Don't forget there are two questions on the ballot, as well as all of the candidates.

4. Return your Absentee Ballot: please remember it must be received by Election Day (Nov 8th) and the USPS can take up to a week or more. You can return your ballot in the town's secure drop box, by mail, or hand deliver it to the Town Clerk's office during regular business hours (M-F from 8am to 4:30pm)
