I am running for
re-election!

I am a second term legislator representing Wethersfield, CT in the 28th House District. I serve as Assistant Majority Leader, Vice Chairperson of the Government Administration and Elections Committee and a member of the Transportation and Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committees.

As your State Rep, I have worked hard for Wethersfield residents, paying attention to the needs of our working families and seniors, supporting our public schools, and increasing funding for childcare and additional mental health support for children. I continue to fight for women's healthcare and our LGBTQ+ community to make sure that all residents' needs are met, services are available, and we all feel safe in our state.

I’m proud to have worked on a budget that adheres to our fiscal guardrails, delivered the largest tax cuts in state history, built up the Rainy Day Fund and prepaid the state's unfunded pension liability.

2024 brings the first chance to vote Early in Connecticut and I look forward to watching our voters enjoy the freedom to vote when it is convenient for them and I will continue to work to make sure our elections are safe and secure and accessible to all.

As a lifelong resident of Wethersfield, I attended elementary and middle school in town before graduating from South Catholic High School and Providence College. I am currently employed at Wesleyan University’s Center for African American Studies. I was employed for ten years as an Assistant Town Clerk and served on the Town Council (2015-2020) and as Mayor of Wethersfield (2017-2019). My husband Rich and I have three daughters, all still in school, and both sets of parents living in Wethersfield.

During this campaign, I look forward to connecting with residents about the issues important to our district.I hope to earn your support in November.
